Job Purpose

The Sales Director will develop unique performance based DTC solutions for our pharmaceutical and other healthcare industry clients based on the capabilities and integrated programs provided by QualityHealth. They will develop relationships with key manufacturers’ brand management departments and supporting advertising agencies within the healthcare industry. The Sales Director will build market position through lead development, identification and qualification of prospects, presentation, negotiation and closing of new business sales.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Drive sales strategy planning and execution, take responsibility for the sales plan to deliver results
  • Forecast annual, quarterly and monthly contracts and revenue streams
  • Prospect, negotiate and close new business through direct sales to new and existing clients
  • Create a strong account presence to drive awareness of company’s solutions
  • Achieve sales objectives through innovative approaches to promotion, sponsorship, and client partnerships.
  • Coordinate prospect/client site visits with product management or decision makers with ownership for advertising in the direct to consumer and online marketing sectors.
  • Work with QualityHealth’s Product Management group to create enhancement and product specialization to meet client needs.
  • Maintain effective communication with accounts and management across the company to ensure operational alignment.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • College degree or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5-7+ years of B2B healthcare sales and/or agency, cpg and account management experience.
  • Consultative sales experience with proven results meeting new business objectives.
  • Must have existing strong relationships with supporting marketing personnel at healthcare manufacturers and preferably with media and digital agencies.
  • A self-starter who enjoys being a consultant to senior level marketing executives in the pharmaceutical/healthcare marketing space.
  • Must be disciplined in the process management of his/her sales pipeline; strong closing skills are essential.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills necessary to effectively communicate at all levels of in the organization.
  • Proven knowledge and experience in Pharmaceutical DTC marketing as well as digital and/or database consumer marketing experience in the Pharmaceutical industry a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment that requires quick turnaround and quality output.
  • Strong business acumen and analytical skills and focus.
  • Solid knowledge of all MS Office Products.
  • Experience with Salesforce.com a plus
