Job Purpose

The Project Manager is responsible to coordinate and manage the delivery of complex integrated marketing programs for medium to large healthcare clients. Primary responsibilities of the PM will be to manage client-facing business initiatives in conjunction with the Client Services team. Specifically, ensuring the project, performance and communication tracking is occurring and communicated in an effective and professional manner utilizing effective techniques such as presentations, War Room establishment and management, and written documentation. Focusing on high risk projects, the Project Manager will develop and manage a reporting portfolio on behalf of QualityHealth for the executive management of its clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate marketing, creative, operations and technology teams to drive client initiatives ensuring on time delivery
  • Work closely with Client Services to ensure delivery of initiatives to the client’s satisfaction
  • Manage cross-departmental teams of 15+ resources
  • Handle dependency, risk/issue management, and problem resolution
  • Provide updated status reporting to senior management and business units
  • Provide scheduling, facilitation, and coordination of all project related meetings
  • Prioritized tasks, overcomes obstacles, monitor project progress, manages multiple projects
  • Proficient in collaboration, conflict resolution, group interaction and dynamics, project management, and facilitation of significant projects
  • Strong presentation skills, with experience presenting to executives, managers, and staff
  • Ability to drive projects in a matrix management environment that includes influencing, efficiency, collaboration, candor, and openness with a focus on results orientation
  • Thorough knowledge of complex project management processes, tools, techniques and methodologies to lead large scale effort
  • Understanding of Internet marketing, advertising, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industry
  • Demonstrated ability to determine the key risks that need to be addressed and develop actions plans that are multi-faceted in nature and include both business process and system components
  • Provide concise monthly reporting to key stakeholders.

Minimum Qualifications & Competencies:

  • 2-4 years of experience leading multiple projects that span client stakeholders, including internal senior leadership, partners/vendors, and external influencers
  • BA/BS Degree
  • Agile Scrum Master certification, and or CAPM/PMP certification from PMI preferred
  • PMP Project Management Certification preferred.
  • 2 years software application project management experience.
  • Prior experience working with, and or coordinating the efforts of multiple parties (e.g. third parties or clients) on large scale healthcare services or software implementation projects Solid understanding of project management duties and responsibilities
  • Excellent organizing, time management, and oral & written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Understanding of software development technologies and SDLC processes
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office products, MS Project, Rally and/or SharePoint
  • Experience in working the pharmaceutical industry, including an understanding of basic MLR review processes and requirements preferred
